Meet Mike Yost:
“After more than 20-years of serving as a trustworthy neighborhood auto-technician, Mike Yost chose to put his successful career on hold, and literally “walk the walk” knocking on over 12,000 doors to gather signatures necessary to qualify for the August Republican primary ballot. He and his wife Debra share a home in Jacksonville and have two children and five grandchildren.”

Mike Wins Republican Nomination to Square-off Against Corrine Brown in November

By 10:00pm on Tuesday, August 24th,  it was declared that Mike Yost had won the Republican nomination with over 45% of the total vote in a 3 way Primary race. He was facing 2 other formidable opponents in Dean Black and Chris Nwasike.

By staying on message and bringing  clarity to the issues and genuine, common sense solutions to resolving our economic issues and offering real solutions to creating JOBS, voters determined Mike would be the best qualified to bring true, Conservative principles to Washington and to be the one who will be “Taking YOUR Voice to D.C.” in November.

In his acceptance remarks, Mike had this to say: “I can’t thank the volunteers who made this campaign possible. It was your hard work and dedication that made this win happen and I am so very humbled by your efforts and your desire to win this election. Let’s enjoy this evening and move on to another WIN in November.”

“We CAN win this election, we WILL win this election, and WE ARE going to bring real prosperity to this District that has been neglected with 18 years of Rep. Brown. Let’s bring REAL leadership that will create opportunities for JOBS, small business growth, and economic development to the 3rd Congressional District of Florida”.

GOP Liberty Caucus Backs Mike Yost for Congress

Limited Government Group Lauds Candidate’s Ideals

JACKSONVILLE, FL – Mike Yost, candidate for U.S. Representative in the 3rd District, today announced he received the backing of the GOP Liberty Caucus.  A state chapter of the national organization, members support small government ideals.

“Candidates endorsed by the RLC share our commitment to the ideals of individual rights, limited government, and free enterprise,” said Kristi Dunn, Executive Director of RLC Florida chapter.  “When considering the three primary candidates running in the 3rd District, the choice was clear: Mike Yost.”

“I am thrilled to receive the endorsement of the GOP Liberty Caucus,” said Mike Yost.  “If I have the honor and privilege to serve the good people of Florida come November, reducing the size of government will be priority number one.  The time is now for Washington insiders to put personal interests aside and do what’s right for the people.  We need to grow the economy, not the government.”
